Hello KRK Rokit 6

My first set active speakers where the Hercules XPS 2.0 60 DJ set. I bought these speakers for practicing DJ-ing in Spain (during the summer holiday of 2014). Back home I also used them for practicing. But the sound is what you can expect for less then 100 euro … not great.

Today I upgraded my speakers to the KRK RP6 (Rokit 6) G3 (Generation 3). The friendly priced KRK is a sweet-sounding active DJ monitor speaker with plenty of low, and an accurate frequency response curve that’s not fatiguing during long listening sessions.

The speakers are class A/B bi-amped with 48 Watt for the 6 inch Aramid Glass Composite woofer and 25 Watt for the 1 inch silk dome tweeter. The frequency response is from 38 Hz to 35 kHz with a crossover at 2.3 kHz.

After testing I am very satisfied with these new speakers. They really sound great! You can feel the low (if you turn up the power) and in the color white they also look fantastic.
