Je bent dj en gek op trance, maar te jong om op trancefeesten te komen of om er te werken. De 13-jarige Bastiaan van Hooij uit Doorn baalde daar van, dus bedacht een oplossing. Hij organiseert gewoon zijn eigen trancefeest.

Wat doe je als je als 13-jarige te jong bent voor trancefeesten? Dan organiseer je er zelf een. Dj Bastiaan Hooij uit Doorn is 13 jaar oud en geeft op 22 juni zijn eerste eigen trancefeest. Het feest heeft, zoals de meeste trancefeesten, een minimum leeftijd van 21. Naast drie andere dj’s staat Bastiaan ook zelf op het podium. Onder zijn artiesten naam DJ Bastiq maakt hij trancemuziek en een wekelijkse radioshow die onder andere in Engeland wordt uitgezonden.

Dat Bergse Bossen in Driebergen een feestje kan bouwen, is al wel bewezen met de altijd drukbezochte SummerBeats en WinterBeats 30-UP danceparty’s. Op zaterdag 22 juni a.s. wordt er een nieuw feest aan het rijtje toegevoegd: de 21+ trance & dance party ‘Energy of Trance on Stage!’.
